(i) First Class with Honours
A candidate will be declared to have passed in FIRST CLASS
WITH HONOURS if she secures not less than 75 % of the
aggregate marks in all courses except First Year courses and
passes all the above courses. In the first appearence itself
and completes all papers including that of First Year within
a stipulated period of 2 / 3 / 3½ years as the case may be.
(ii) First
Class
A candidate will
be declared to have passed in FIRST CLASS if she secures not
less than 60 % of the aggregate marks in all courses except
First Year courses and completes all papers including that
of First Year within a stipulated period of 2 / 3 / 3½ years
as the case may be.
(iii)
Second Class
All other
successful candidates will be declared to have passed in
SECOND CLASS.
Declaration of Results
A Student is
expected to satisfy the minimum credits completed at the end
of the Diploma Programme. Percentage of marks and the award
of the class is based on the weighted average using the
formula.

Where Mr is the
percentage of mark in a particular course Cr is the
respective course credit. The weighted average will be
calculated considering only the applied courses and
diversified courses put together.
