- Organised Personality Development program
- Cultivate responsibility, ethics and positive attitude. Promote leadership qualities and motivate to perform voluntary services.
- Organised workshop on "Time to Talk" which enlightened the work place communication.
- Conducted one day seminar on "Career Caliber " which improved the self confidence level.
- To upgrade creativity ability, Team building, Group discussion and Time management.
- Organised seminar on "Entrepreneurship Development" to motivate to become an entrepreneurs.
- Organised special lecture on "adolescent problems" and "Personal
hygine" created awareness on adolescence problems.
- Organised group discussion on "Interview Techniques" to face interview with confidence.
- Important days were celebrated - Environment day, World Population day, NSS day, Literacy day, and Aids awareness day.
- To bring out their hidden talents competitions were conducted topic pertaining to the important days.
Special Activities
Special camp was organised for ten days in the adopted village- Palavakkam & Kottivakkam. During the special camp various activities were carried out
- Technical skill program - Cosmetics preparation, Tailoring, Bouquet making and Bridal make up
- Medical camp for two days- Eye check up - Diabetic check up & General health free medicines and eye drops were distributed. Polio drops were given to children.
- Awareness on Loan formalities, Road safety & Health and hygiene.
Achievements
- One more feather on our cap is "Best Unit award" for the year 2003-04 at the Directorate level.
- "Best NSS student volunteer award" to our volunteer.
